Well, I did get some seeds planted! A few tomato varieties, a few herbs and some flowers. Hopefully we’ll get our greens and carrots planted outside this weekend.

And here is my very first sewing project: pillows! They have fold-over pillowcase flaps, so it’s easy to remove and wash the covers. I got the fabric at this great store in the neighborhood. This was a super-quick project and it got me feeling confident to take on something more complicated. (I’ll post pictures soon.)
