In this photo, Saro and I are standing on top of the snow. We should be falling through, but we’re not. It’s a nice feeling: crisp, light, solid, surprising. That’s how I feel about life right now.
I am on to something.
This design business is what I do. Just like any good and worthwhile relationship, it has pushed me to some uncomfortable places. An old spiritual teacher of mine used to say, “If you have doubt, go all the way with it. Don’t just doubt a little.” It’s good advice. The more you follow doubt, the more peculiar it begins to sound.
The only thing to do is soldier on. Doubt and fear be damned.
So, here I am: carrying on, traveling on. Doing what I do, with some joy and lots of gratitude. It’s a good road.
