The Two Lights Blanket. I knitted this last winter with Fisherman’s Wool (Oatmeal). The chevron pattern is a really nice subtle pattern that you won’t get bored with. If you can knit and purl, you can make this blanket. There are no increases or decreases, nothing tricky. It takes some time, as all blankets do. But what better way to spend a winter than watching old episodes of Murder, She Wrote and knitting this lovely throw.

The pattern comes from the absolutely delightful magazine, Taproot, which I highly recommend. Each issue has a nice collection of recipes, patterns, art, stories and how-to’s. I’ve been a fan and follower of the editor, Amanda Soule, for years.
