Winter is back. Everything ugly is covered with a fresh layer of snow. Pretty, soft, light, white, flaky, beautiful snow. Forget about the hard times. Go kick around in it.

Sitting inside, next to a fireplace, facing a huge window, I’ve got a cuppa something warm, some stew for lunch, and a friend to visit with. The snow is really coming down, sometimes gently and sometimes in sideways gusts. Nature is making herself known.

Look out. This is winter and we’re lucky to have it. Everything is good.
